but adults surely wish there
is a Santa for them too!
In gift shopping,
we want a place
where we can find cool,
functional, likeable,
memorable and affordable
stuff that can fit to everyone’s
Christmas sock.
Divisoria is famous for variety of colors and flavors for Christmas shopping.
Just roaming around will definitely light up idea bulb for that perfect present. Ideas and inspiration are all over the place you might end up choked with choices and with heightened cardiac activity being in a jammed, jolly, “just-go-there-for –the-experience” place that is Divisoria.
Here’s when we blog what to Divi-see this season:
Oopppsss… hold your baskets! Before you bootstrap:
1 List what you want to accomplish in Divisoria.
2 Set a budget.
3 Wear something comfortable yet makes you
safe in a crowd.
4 Some prefer slippers but sneakers are still
the best as people can step on your toes. Ouch.
5 Leave jewelries at home.
6 Bring children at your both risks.
7 Better not to bring bag for wallet and cellphone.
Put everything in front pocket (Actually, better
not to carry wallet, just cash).
8 When bringing car, decide where to park as early
(see guide somewhere in this blog)
.25 Look in the mirror.
Practice your haggling face.
.5 Read this blog.
Tutuban, 168, Streetshops
Tutuban mall is across Andres Bonifacio’ s monument to mark his home
168 mall opened in 2004 and since then lives to what the numbers stand for – prosperity
4/f is haven of bridal gowns and wedding accessories. An expo that suits chilly and romantic wedding month of December
Rona has been creating gowns for Simple Elegance for a decade now. Christmas does not affect their business in terms of production as everything is made to order. What they are working on this season are creations for Feb proms and Grad march.
From appliance center, this stall transforms to Christmas décor shop by September. Order volume ranges from by the dozen to P10k in cost. Companies and entreps are the niche of these products from Pampanga and China.
At Hawaii Appliances and Kitchenwares which also evolves into Christmas depot (That’s how they’ve been for 14 years, staff Danny said.) you’ll find decors averaging P25 and P100 and also posh Christmas tree worth P16k.
All of these China products are put in stock by last week of August.
According to Danny, to put up shop like theirs in Divi, you need 2M capital
What We Encountered As We Turned
Meet Franck, a French.
Meet Franck, a French.
As we wandered off the clogged contours of Divisoria for blog ideas, we spotted him surrounded with curious kids
clamoring for a Power Cam demo. In his 3-months stay, Divisoria is on his list of Top Places to Visit, as tipped by a fellow French. We think he took it from Filipinos, he already shopped in advance for clothings and Christmas goodies here in Divi!
"There's nothing like this in France. There's no place like this."
As we shift our glance from his jeepney print shirt to his blue-grey eyes, we can only nod and say. Oui!
