Hello 2012!

Feng shui, and other forms of predictions are scattering the metro today. Let's take sneak!

The Mayan Calendar:
Many are scared, some are snob. Once Mayan Calendar is heard, first instict we think (or maybe some of us) is the end of the world -- It is because in the Mayan Calendar, the last day before the world ends is on December 21, 2012, or when expressed in numerology: 12-21-12. We can see a pattern here - the inverstion of numbers. Some prophesies think that this really the end.

But aside from the Mayan Calendar, there are documentaries that explains how the world will end. This is the Planet X or the Nibiru. Below is the file video from youtube. It is so long. You can always check other videos related to this.

The Country:

The ANC interviewed astrologers to give their predictions this 2012. They tackled Philippines' government, the natural disasters the country is facing, and the talked-about "end of the world".

The Gadgets:

Hello big brother! This year, alphanumerics will be replaced by his big brother touchies and his cousins qwerty's. Though there will still be available units with alphaumeric keys, but these will be expected to be "basic phones" today.

Digital cameras continue to grow this year. Unlike the past years, cameras are not so hippy, but because of the exposure of digital compact cameras, many trigger happy moments are preserved.

Nikon and Canon still battle for the O' mighty throne! But beware fanboys, Sony is making up his way. Four-thirds cameras still proving itself to be best of both worlds -- having that sleek body with interchangeable lenses. These 4-3rds are mirrorless, seems like this will hit the market soon for amateurs and photography hobbyists. Sony released its Mirrorless cameras - NEX and α., and Nikon responded with its V1.
